When Freese Notis Weather needed to provide its weather data in XML format to its clients, it approached Octadyne Systems for a solution. Octadyne Systems implemented a comprehensive solution, keeping in mind its current needs and for future growth opportunities. Octadyne Systems implemented a Mod-Perl based solution on the SGI machine, providing both XML and regular HTML output. The Mod-Perl script detects the type of request from the client, XML or HTML, then sends out the data according to the input type.

Octadyne Systems has had significant experience providing Internet portal applications for auto dealers in Iowa, Florida, and California with their AutoJini product. For that reason, the Iowa Independent Automobile Dealers Association charged Octadyne Systems with the task of developing a new website for its 250 statewide members. The site allows dealers to maintain business information, upload their inventory, sell cars and dealer-related items to oher dealers. It also includes a calendar of events, online monthly newsletter and a list of approved vendors.
Octadyne Systems launched this great website in summer 2003, allowing individuals and our AutoJini dealers a centralized cyber marketplace for their automobiles. Private individuals may list their vehicle for sale almost as if they had their own AutoJini dealer site. In addition, AutoJini auto dealer website subscribers have their inventory automatically added and updated nightly. Web traffic to this site has increased dramatically since its launch, and is expected to continue.
The Iowa PTA has worked to promote the health, education and welfare of children and youth in homes, schools and communities, and to develop partnerships between parents, educators and the general public.
